Work Journey

I started out as also a comic book colorist, working on titles including X-Men, Red Sonja, Vampi, and Darkstalkers. Eventually, I started working as an illustrator and a character designer for various toy and game companies. One of my most successful project was designing hundreds of animals for MEG's "In My Pocket" series. After the success of the “Puppy In My Pocket” figurines, other merchandise followed as well as a TV series shown in Europe and USA.

Around the same time, I worked with Charles Park and Ryan Odagawa on over 300 illustrations of Avatar: The Last Airbender Trading Card series for Nickelodeon and Upperdeck.

Later on, I also collaborated with The LEGO Group to help design the "Minidolls" which became the base for all of the current LEGO girls series starting with LEGO Friends. Years later, I ended up joining the company in Denmark as a Senior Designer and helped develop their new Fantasy line, LEGO Elves. I was in charge of creating characters as well as maintaining the Brand Identity with all of LEGO External Partners. It was also very successful and became an animated series on Netflix in 2017.

In 2018, I was filmed by the Disney Chanel while doing live illustrations for their specials on Asian National History Month.

Recently, I am working with Multiverse studios to design toys and merchandise for their clients including Atlus, Natsume, Sony, Riot Games, Snowflake, and more.

Other than working for clients, I have enjoyed making my own designs and merchandise under VUDUBERI brand. It's a lot of work, but incredibly rewarding to see my drawings come to life as a tangible object, and even more so when I see the joy that my artworks bring to my customers over the years.
